MISS. LEXA
OWNER
Competition Choreography
Teaches Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Mini Combo Classes,Little Movers and Private Lessons
Miss. Lexa began her dance training at the age of Two. She trained at a local Ohio studio Shirleys School of Dance for sixteen years in the following styles: Ballet (and Pointe), Tap, Jazz, Lyrical. She was a part of the Take the Stage Competition Team for seven years and competed with productions, groups, solos, duets and trios. At the age of fourteen she began assistant teaching a few classes and at the age of sixteen was given some of her own classes and competition choreography opportunities at another local studio. During her time training at her studio she also attended numerous dance conventions and learned from many well known dance professionals in the industry such as Fik-shun (Season 10 winner of SYTYCD), Mandy Moore (Choreographer for SYTYCD), Ricky Ubeda (Season 11 winner of SYTYCD), Lauren Froderman (Season 7 Winner of SYTYCD), and Twitch and Allison Holker from (SYTYCD) to name a few. Ms. Lexa since graduating has trained in other styles such as Acro and Hip Hop. For three years Ms. Lexa traveled all over the country with Starpower National Talent Competition as one of their backstage managers for dance competitions. In 2021 Ms. Lexa moved to Aiken, South Carolina and decided to put her lifelong dream of opening a dance studio into motion. In January of 2022 we opened the doors of 8 Count Academy of Dance for the first time!

MISS. HOLLY
OWNER
Miss Holly has always had a passion for working with children!
She has years of business management and childcare experience with schools, daycares, and places such as The YMCA. Although she wasn't immersed into the dance world until her adult years, she has always enjoyed helping out behind the scenes. Miss Holly is happy to help out with any questions our dance families may have along the way and enjoys watching our dancers grow throughout the years. She looks forward to making meaningful connections with our dance families for years to come!

MISS CHLOE
HEAD BALLET TEACHER
Teaches Ballet, Lyrical, Pointe, and Little Movers
Miss Chloe began her dancing when she was six years old, and trained in classical Ballet for thirteen years. Prior to graduating high school, she danced with the Aiken Civic Ballet as a member of their company for five years. She has performed in Ballet productions such as, "The Nutcracker," "Snow White," "Aladdin," "Alice in Wonderland," and "Dracula." Alongside Ballet, Ms. Chloe has trained in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and competition dance.

MISS. SAM
Teaches Little Movers and Mini Combo Classes
Miss Sam has always had a passion for dance. She competed on her studios competition team growing up and enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for dance each week with our littlest dancers!
